I wanted to post a quick entry telling that I'm back as soon as I got home, but there was a tiny little thing called Misha at VanCon that had to come first XD
So, I'm back for about 7 hours now (LOL) and I'm feeling pretty okay, headache wise.
They didn't find anything wrong at all with my brain and there are no infections in my nervous system. So my headaches are probably tension headaches and will go with time and lots of relaxing. Yeah, cos I can do so much relaxing with final exams and dissertation on my shoulders, but oh well.
Right now my back is killing me, because of that awful "let's poke her spine with an impossible huge needle to find something we don't expect to find anyway". I could have sworn it was just an additional exercise for the students working there. My body didn't help with almost fainting at the first try and we had to do it all over again. ugh. Oh, and my arm is hurting. They pumped a contrast agent through my veines for the MRI - they must have done it with such a pressure that half my veines in my right arm exploded - at least it feels that way.
At least I don't feel the headache anymore LOL
The actual results are less then stellar. Do more sport ( ha ha ha, I'm laughing my ass off.) and don't take any pain meds. Yes, exactly. They explained to me that too much of that stuff can give you headaches. well... I explained to them that I hate taking meds and I only do it if absolutely necessary. They didn't even leave me that. Fuck them. I take them when I feel the need to.
I'm done with them. I will go to the eye doctor in 3 weeks. That one will give me my new glasses and then the whole business is over and we can laugh about it XD
